Gwen Stefani and rocker husband Gavin Rossdale take their two sons, Kingston, 2, and Zuma, 4 months, to a post-Christmas party at a friend’s house on Friday afternoon (December 26) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Gavin recently gave a telling interview about his family:

On naming his oldest son: “The stuff you read on Wikipedia especially is such rubbish. They have some stranger as my mother and the family names are all wrong. I’d like to complain to Mr. Wikipedia. How do you do that? Kingston is named for Kingston, Jamaica, not Kingston Ferry. So it’s really not that traditional. At least I don’t think there are a lot of kids named for Kingston, Jamaica.”

On Kingston’s music tastes: “He likes anything with a good beat. He’s big into drums. He likes my record. He likes Gwen’s record. He plays some Pharrell and Snoop. Anything that’s good for head-bobbing. He’s a good head-bobber.”

Rocker couple Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale take their two boys, Kingston, 2, and Zuma, 4 months, to Christmas Eve service at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

No Doubt bass guitarist Tony Kanal posted a holiday message on the band’s official website. He wrote, “With the holidays upon us, I wanted to thank all of you for the ongoing love and support you have given us over the past 22 years. We are fueled by the enthusiasm and excitement and can’t wait to get out there and play shows for you again. Until then, we will be celebrating the holidays with our loved ones, working on the new record and getting inspired to rock! Wishing you all a healthy, safe and prosperous 2009. MTFBWY, Tony.”

A shy Kingston Rossdale hides from photographers (and shows off a hip blue-and-white striped armwarmer) as he sits in the arms of dad Gavin Rossdale on their way to LAX on Friday afternoon.

3-month-old baby brother Zuma, with his head kept warm in a little blue beanie, and mom Gwen Stefani followed right behind.

The rocker family is headed to Salt Lake City where Gavin is set to headline with his band.

Earlier this week, it was announced that No Doubt would be touring in 2009. Tom Dumont (guitar, keyboards) just wrote to the official ND forums, “Good times everyone! We’re so excited to get this going, playing live is something we’ve been loving for about 20 years now, if you can believe it! (since I’ve joined the band anyway). The plan is to keep writing and working on the album simultaneously. You can’t rush creativity sometimes, but as it unfolds I’m certain that 2009 sure is going to be a fun year. Can’t wait to see you all again. Tom”

Gwen Stefani and rocker husband Gavin Rossdale catch comedienne Sarah Silverman in concert at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live in Los Angeles on Friday night.

Her band, No Doubt, recently announced they will soon be returning to the stage and touring America… and maybe the world!

Their family, including Gwen’s father Dennis, returned from Cabo San Lucas, where all of the No Doubt members reunited.

Gwen’s rocker husband, Gavin Rossdale recently said that Kingston is already showing early signs of being an entertainer.

“He’s got a better wardrobe than I have! I can definitely see a performer in him,” Gavin told Us Weekly. “[But] it’s such a worry — it’s such a weird world. I mean, he’s been photographed nonstop since he began.He had the first nine days off of his life - after that, it’s been full- [throttle]. It’s pretty intense. Who knows what’s going to happen?”

The 39-year-old No Doubt frontwoman, who was accompanied by her brother Todd and sister in-law Jen, even took Kingston to play Ring Around the Rosie! Gwen’s mother and father were also at the party.

Earlier in the day, Gwen stopped off at Toys R’ Us and a local neighborhood Mexican restaurant El Conquistador located on Sunset Blvd.
